Mount EtnaMount Etna is located on the East Coast of Sicily. It is one of the largest continental volcanoes, and also the highest active volcano in Europe.It has been active for more than 2,500,000 years. 
Etna is named after the ancient Greek word "I burn". Indeed there are many myths and legends surrounding Mount Etna. Etna was the home of the Cyclops, the one-eyed monster, and the location of the forge of Volcan, the God of Fire.
